How to Cook

  1. 0:00
    Turn the hob on to a medium temperature and pour the oil into a medium sized pot
  2. 2:18
    Tip onions and grind salt & pepper into the pot. Continue to cook & stir for a few minutes until the onions soften

    Stir in tomato mixture and simmer, stirring ocassionally for around 6 minutes

    Turn the hob down to a medium heat and simmer for 6 more minutes

    Place a boiling pot on the hob 3/4’s full with water, set the temperture to a high heat and add the salt.
    Turn the sauce down to medium low and stir

    Stir Basil into the sauce and leave simmering on a low heat for another 5 minutes

    Place the mesh basket and pasta in the boiling pot, then stir. When the water comes back to the boil, turn the heat down to medium/high temperture

    When the pasta has been boiling for around 3 minutes, switc the hob off. Drain the pasta and mix together well with the sauce
